Deadlines
Program
Groups shall be allocated according to the results of an online placement test, distributed by e-mail during July. All participants must complete the online placement test. This guarantees that the language level within each class is tailored to the ability of the student.
There are no prerequisites for this course. However, we do expect participants to be actively engaged in the program and its activities. Failure to meet these minimum standards may result in an exclusion from the program.
Through regular attendance upon the course, students shall be awarded with a certificate upon completion. This certificate details the number of lessons attended as well as the content and language level of the course, in accordance with the regulations of the Council of Europe's Common European Framework, as recognised throughout Europe.
Note:
Please note, however, that this certificate is not a substitute for the language test, which all foreign students must pass prior to studying in Germany (TestDaF, DSH). Further information regarding this language test will be provided during the course.
2 ECTS credits
The course material will be selected according to specific course goals, as well as to the respective language level of each class. The cost of materials will be included within the course price. The purchase of further materials will not be necessary.
The German language course shall consist of 19 days in total (80 course-hours total), with a minimum of 4 hours in class each day (9.30am - 1pm).
Each class will have a maximum of 15 students.
