German Language Course

Fees and Payment

  • Registration fee: € 200,00
  • Tuition:  € 527,00 
  • Workshop Theater or Phonetic (optional, please choose only one workshop): € 75,00
  • Accommodation (optional, limited availability. More information here): € 600,00

The tuition fee includes:

  • the language course (A1 - C1 according to the European Framework of Reference)
  • course materials 
  • events in the extracurricular programme 
  • deposit for the cafeteria card (€7.00 will be refunded upon return)

Deadlines:

  • Registration deadline is  May 1, 2026 
  • Payment deadline for the registration fee immediately after submitting your application, 
  • Payment deadline for tuition until May 10, 2026 by the latest 

Payment:

  • Places on the course are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
    To secure your place, please pay at least the €200 registration fee immediately upon receipt of the invoice. The tuition is due no later than May 10, 2026. 
  • Places in the student residence are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
    As the number of rooms is very limited, we recommend early payment. 
  • To avoid high bank charges (all charges must be paid by the participant), we recommend paying all amounts in one lump sum.
  • Your place on the course and room booking are only secured once you have received written confirmation (PDF) from us after your payment has been received.

If you have received a DAAD or BayHOST scholarship you do not need to send us the application form or send us any payment. We will get the information directly from DAAD. All recipients will be informed and invited as soon as we have the information from scholarship provider.

SCHOLARSHIP

Important notes:

  • The registration fee cannot be refunded.
  • Payments can be processed via Banktransfer, Wise or PayPal. We are unable to accept credit card payments.
  • Please make sure to include your full name and the abbreviation of the program (SSK) on the money-wire transfer payment. Your name has to be clearly identifiable.
  • Please note that some banks charge additional fees for international transfers. PayPal fees are also usually very high. Please make sure that the full amount is received on time. All transaction fees have to be paid by you. Please ask the bank in your home country for assistance.

Cancellation*:

Cancellation before the registration deadline:
The registration fee will not be refunded.
All other deposits will be fully refunded.

Cancellation after the registration deadline:
The registration fee will not be refunded.
If accommodation was booked, the rent will not be refunded.

Cancellation 4 weeks before commencement of the course:
The registration fee will not be refunded.
If accommodation was booked, the deposit for the rent will not be refunded and 50% of the tuition will not be refunded.

Cancellation 1 day before commencement of the course:
The registration fee will not be refunded.
If accommodation was booked, the deposit for the rent will not be refunded and 80% of the tuition will not be refunded.
